Island MFS Active “Rock” is a new product from Meindl which is an updated version of Island MFS Active with above all a different outsole and sole construction. The outsole is a Meindl Multigrip® ROCK with PU cushioning, an environmentally friendly “Green Diamond” technology, i.e. a softer rubber with metal particles for a little better grip on slippery surfaces. It is for those who want a stable boot for tougher hiking or hunting in all kinds of terrain. For the best fit, we recommend choosing a size larger than normal. We recommend that boots are approx. 10 mm longer than your foot length so that you have room for extra socks, different types of soles and because the feet swell slightly during a day’s hiking.
